About this Custom Number paint

Modified series champion Jeff Fuller moved south for the 1995 season taking sponsor Sunoco with him to run the number 47 Chevrolets for a new team owned by Tad Geschickter. Fuller succeeded in the 1995 season with a 10th place points finish and rookie of the year honors, but no wins. Fuller nabbed that win in the 1996 season in dramatic style. Just days after the birth of his daughter, Fuller took pole at Bristol. He found himself in the lead on a late restart, but with a misfiring ignition and Dale Jarrett on his bumper. Fuller was able to make the car wide, running Jarrett to the apron with two laps to go and holding on to win. Fuller was released from the ride in mid 1997 and Robert Pressley took it over. This paint represents that 1996 Bristol car, including the "It's a girl" message on the B-post.

The Grand National Legends project is a series of paints dedicated to the most significant Busch Series drivers and cars of the 1995 through 1999 seasons. Follow me for updates: twitter.com/iam27paul
