About this Custom Number paint

David Polenz's 2009 Rookie Season Throwback #33 Late Model. This Late Model Stock Car & Driver with the preparation of Dave Moon, took home 4 wins, and became the first Rookie to win the Old Dominion Speedway "Big One" 200 lap race. David took the lead on Lap 4 leading 196 laps to win the biggest race of his career to date. Ol' Wilson (Dave Moons Nickname for the ride) was steady rolling headed into the season finale, but with a rain out David took home 2nd place in the championship, only 3 track positions from winning the title. He also became NASCAR's Virginia State Rookie of the Year, and only finished outside the top 5 three times over 18 races. The Paint was re-created by David at Elite Media, Graphics and Wraps, with the supplying of the original real life artwork made by Dan Fleming at Xtreme Graphics. The sponsors on the hood rode with David to make his first season in late model become a reality.
