#35 NASCAR Legends Chevrolet Monte Carlo - 1987 by Josh CadeJosh Cade Pro

About this Custom Number paint

Benny Parsons’s 1987 #35 Folgers Coffee Decaf Machine Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS for Hendrick Motorsports. Benny won a Gatorade Twin 125 leading start to finish and almost won Atlanta and was really competitive at times in 1987 with six Top 5 finishes. I chose to replicate the later season Green “Decaf” Coffee Machine. The car changed more than most back in this era. Red to Green, added Citrus Hill, little associate sponsor decals moved all over the place from race-to-race and even sometimes a larger Folgers decal on the quarter panel covered the fuel intake and sometimes it didn't, but it was fun to research. Helmet included. The artwork is vector art re-created by me. iRacing Photos (Screenshots) by @MilnerMediaAndDesign.

I raced my first sim in high school with Papyrus's Indianapolis 500. In 1993, my Purdue college roommate and I connected our PCs and raced each other. I also figured out how to unpack the car files and add "Marlboro" to the cars, then posted them on rec.autos.sport.indy, becoming something of an international celebrity. Ha! I guess I've been doing this a long time. I worked for ASA Racing in the '90s, and I enjoy painting throwbacks/retros from the '80s and '90s for all forms of motorsports: IndyCar, NASCAR, USAC, IMSA.
