Mahiki Racing has confirmed its second British GT entry, and first in the GT4 class, after revealing Blake Angliss will share a McLaren Artura with Revie Lake.

The team ran Lotuses and Ginettas last season before sampling its first taste of McLaren GT3 machinery at Donington’s finale, paving the way for a full-time switch to the same manufacturer across both classes.

Angliss remains with the team he joined halfway through last year after making his British GT4 debut driving a Paddock Motorsport-run Artura in 2024. He claimed his first pole position with Mahiki at Donington – a result he hopes will feed into a successful campaign alongside the young Lake.

“I’m really looking forward to running with Mahiki for a second year,” he said. “We ended last season on a high, and it feels natural to carry that momentum forward. Moving to McLaren, I believe we can really make the package work.

“Between Revie and myself, I think we’ll be a very strong pairing with the support of both the team and McLaren, giving us a solid foundation to build on throughout the season.”

Lake is the son of Mahiki team owner Steven, whose own entry was announced in early February. The 16-year-old makes the jump to GT4 after contesting Ginetta Juniors on the British GT package last season.

“It’s a real privilege to be joining Mahiki Racing in British GT,” he said. “Sharing the car with Blake will be great fun, and together we’ll do our best to fight for the championship while enjoying the journey.

“Watching the team grow from nothing to where it is today has been incredible, and racing with them has been a dream of mine for a long time.”

Lake will be 16 years and 146 days old when the championship begins at Silverstone on April 26. He could, therefore, become British GT’s youngest-ever race winner – a record currently held by Sandy Mitchell (16 years and 169 days).

Retired from a career in IT, and now have time on my hands to try stuff like painting race cars. I have done a number of commissions for others, so if you want a paint made either from scratch or a favourite real life car, message me via this platform. I reproduce car liveries from real life cars for the entertainment of the many many fans of those teams and drivers, and am happy to take a look at any suggestions for liveries for anyone looking to emulate their hero.
