Mahiki Racing 2026 British GT3 Entry

McLaren 720s GT3 EVO by Keith ArcherKeith Archer

About this paint

Mahiki Racing will make its full-season British GT3 debut after confirming Josh Rowledge alongside team owner Steven Lake in a McLaren 720S.

Lake steps up from GT4 where he has spent the last two seasons driving Mahiki’s Lotus and Ginetta, while Rowledge returns to the championship after contesting Porsche Carrera Cup Asia throughout 2025.

The team intended to race the McLaren at Donington Decider last year before a testing accident ended its participation before officially beginning. It’s first GT3 start will therefore come in late April at the Silverstone 500.

20-year-old Rowledge has a season of GT3 racing under his belt from 2024 when he partnered Matt Topham at Blackthorn. But the front-engined Aston Martin was a very different beast to the McLaren, which has its powerplant behind the driver, as well as the one-make Carrera Cup car he campaigned last year.

He is also the first confirmed FIA Silver graded driver to be eligible for SRO GT Academy points. The winner of British GT’s element will join their equivalents from GT World Challenge Asia, America and Australia in a fully funded CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa entry next year.
