About this paint

Water Wheel Foundation: Created by Phish in 1997 to oversee the band’s various charitable activities, The Waterwheel Foundation has been harnessing the kindness of the Phish fan community to create positive change for over 25 years. WaterWheel fulfills this mission by collecting donations for local nonprofit organizations in the communities where Phish’s tour stops via WaterWheel’s Touring Division. WaterWheel also supports nonprofits based in Phish’s home state of Vermont, especially those focused on cleaning up the Lake Champlain watershed. WaterWheel chooses beneficiaries from a wide sphere of causes including those working to protect the environment, promote social justice, fight food insecurity, provide music education, register voters, and those that help women and children, the homeless and others in need. Thanks to the generosity of Phish fans, since its creation Water Wheel has donated over $9 million to 500+ nonprofit organizations. Meals on Wheels: Meals on Wheels is a program that delivers meals to individuals at home who are unable to purchase or prepare their own meals. Meals on Wheels has been guided by a single goal since the first known U.S. delivery by a small group of Philadelphia citizens in 1954 – to support our senior neighbors to extend their independence and health as they age. What started as a compassionate idea has grown into one of the largest and most effective social movements in America, currently helping nearly 2.8 million seniors annually in virtually every community in the country. Divided Sky Foundation: Divided Sky Residential Recovery Program, opening mid-2023, will be a retreat center where guests will follow an abstinence-based, 12-step outline. We will incorporate mindfulness and solution-based programming to encourage our guests to learn coping skills, life skills, and communication skills taught in workshops and daily lessons. Integrating Emotional Sobriety education will lead our guests to take ownership of self-limiting ideas and thought patterns that hinder their ability to have a productive and healthy life.
